Systematic presents at Agile 2008

Harnessing the power of both Lean and CMMI creates a strong working model. It creates a unique skill set that is needed for delivering large and complex projects while maintaining high flexibility and agility.

The conference was attended by 1600 professionals from 22 different countries, which is significantly higher than previous years.

The growing interest for agile in the industry is also evident by the diversity of attendees. This year participants came from a wide variety of backgrounds, including some more mature companies like; Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

The agile community is increasingly aware that organizational aspects must be addressed and Lean is perceived by many as the primary tool for extending agile into large and complex projects and organizations.

The conference offered delegates more than 30 concurrent tracks. Some 45 people attended Systematic's presentation, several of which represented companies that are already working with CMMI.

The presentation was well received, and the questions raised during the Q&A session were primarily related to a better understanding of how Systematic has succeeded in blending between CMMI, Lean and Agile.
